  • Welcome.

Courage is often needed to begin something new. Whether you’ve been in counseling before, or this is your first time reaching out, seeking support can feel like risk and vulnerability.

My heart is to extend an invitation.

In a culture that pushes for self-sufficiency and perfection, we all rely on coping mechanisms to keep up. I encourage you to take time to pause – how are you coping today?

Many coping mechanisms in our society today promise relief, yet in actuality distance us from ourselves. Busy schedules, substances and media, all fall short of cultivating inner & outer peace.

Just as you might attend to a friend – sitting with patience to understand their heart – I invite you to pursue being honest with yourself, in the context of gentleness and compassion. Whether you’re overwhelmed by too many emotions at once, or you’re numb to emotion and disconnected from the body, I’m here to help facilitate work that cultivates freedom.

Courage is not simply one of the virtues but the form of every virtue at the testing point, which means at the point of highest reality.” – C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters
